"Practice makes perfect"
Well,I don't know about perfection but am certain that practice makes massive progress
I started my bag making journey last year,and that same last year( sometime in June)someone reached out to me that she wanted a laptop backpack for her husband,she asked I send some samples ,I hurriedly surfed the internet for some samples I can effortlessly make and sent them to her,she said they were nice but.... before I could reply,I got a picture of a backpack and she saying she wants exactly that....
Immediately I saw the bag
I started sweating ,heat from nowhere was doing me😔😔😔
People of God,I turned off my data😔,I look the bag for more than 10mins but I couldn't figure out how it was made
It was very simple and looks very easy but not something I was used to
I love good challenges though
So I shàa told her I will get back to her the next day
Make I see if I get the material🤣
I was gonna practice making the bag and didn't mind wasting materials until I get it
Coming on whatsapp the next morning to see a massage from her that her husband choose from the samples I sent💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
The Joy in my heart knows no bounds that I almost went for Thanksgiving in church🥰🙌.
Fast forward to this year,a returning customer said he needed a laptop backpack something very simple yet unique as he bought a new laptop and it can't fit into his current backpack
He showed me his current backpack and asked if I could recreate something like that but bigger
Shey you dey whine me ni 😒🙄?,this is very simple nah
Without a hesitation I said yes.
I took the measurements of the laptop and took a picture of the backpack
He made payment and we agreed on delivery date
But before leaving,I had it in me to ask if small senrenren(twist) was allowed abi I should just recreate the bag as it is
Senrenren is allowed but please keep it simple he said
Made and delivered the backpack and he was so pleased with the twist
People of God,that is not even the catch,today my phone started having small Brain touch😫
As first aid,I decided to delete somethings on my phone before taking it for proper deliverance
A bag picture in my gallery caught my attention and I quickly ran to my whatsapp to check my chat with a customer last year and I got the shocker 😱😱
It was the same backpack
Like I couldn't believe my eyes
With the senrenren on the backpack,I ended up making the exact backpack that almost gave me a cardiac arrest last year with Ease this year
And far so good
I have made more than 100 different designs in just backpacks from just January 2023 until now
You see at this Craft,Am getting better ,infact am better🥰😍🥰😍
Keep practicing,you will get there
