Yesterday, a client asked if I could make her wedding dress.

Honestly, I was surprised she was asking that because I had made dresses for her that I thought would make her believe "if El Kiah has made these high couture level dresses for me, what's a wedding dress she can't pull through?"

I reminded her of my red dress. The same processes it took me to make my red dress is same as making a white silhouette or knee flay wedding dress.

2 years ago, I made a wedding dress for a lady. Everything was perfect and beautiful, but the wedding didn't hold on again.

The pictures attached are same design, same processes, different color.

Color made the difference here.

I had an emergency and couldn't use my industrial sewing machine.

I quickly switched to my manual machine, because, e hold me for neck.

On a normal, nothing dey carry me go there cause once you get used to using an industrial to work, using manual feels like stress.

Lol.😆

As I swung the treadal, it felt like someone on a long journey... but riding a bicycle.

Industrial feels like riding in an automatic car.

But here's the thing:

Different speeds but both gets you to your destination.

No matter the tool, what matters is that you finish the work neatly.

Have you ever had to "downgrade" but still delivered?
