Forgiveness doesn't erase the pain, but it releases the weight.
Holding on to bitterness may feel justified, but it often keeps us tied to the very pain we're trying to leave behind.
Forgiveness isn't pretending that what happened was okay.
It's choosing not to let yesterday's wounds control today's peace.
Sometimes the person who hurt you may never apologize.
Sometimes they may never understand the pain they caused.
But your healing doesn't have to depend on their actions.
When you forgive, you aren't saying, "It didn't matter."
You're saying, "I refuse to let this pain define my future."
God heals hearts that are willing to let go and trust Him with justice.
Forgiveness is not weakness. It's freedom.
Reflection: Is there someone or something, you need to release into God's hands today?
