I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and saw a video of a popular fashion designer giving her students words of encouragement. As a designer who has just started, I watched the video to the end😊. In it, she told them that being a fashion designer is not child's play😣. Sometimes, she sleeps at the factory with her newborn just to meet customers' expectations😩. She also said that the real work of designing a dress starts when a client makes payment, because you won't have rest again until the work is done😢. But why is it so? I think every designer or tailor should be appreciated🙏, no matter how small, because it's not easy to bring your imagination to reality every single time. We designers are really trying because it's not easy. We deserve endless accolades for our unwavering dedication to our craft and our unrelenting passion to bring our creative vision to life. It's truly a remarkable feat that demands our recognition and appreciation🥰.

Being a fashion designer has its sweetness, as you may go from being broke to having money quickly. However, it demands a lot: sacrificing time, sleep, comfort, and working through sickness and health. You need to be prepared. The fashion industry and designing are serious businesses; they require consistency in learning and daily dedication to remain relevant. Creating a personal brand after fashion school is tough, which is why many fashion graduates struggle to put their skills into practice.
