*Faith vs Hope*
How Do We Get Faith?
Faith, we know, grows out of the Word of God. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Another translation of this verse reads, “Faith is the warranty deed, that the thing for which you have fondly hoped is at last yours.”
Faith is “the evidence of things not seen,” as we read in Hebrews 11:1. To illustrate, you might hope for finances to meet a certain obligation, but faith gives you the assurance that you will have the money when you need it. You might hope for physical strength to do a job that you must do, but faith says, “The Lord is the strength of my life” (Psalm 27:1). In other words, faith says the same thing that the Word of God says.
Unbelief is really taking sides against God’s Word. There are those who talk unbelief and take sides against the Word of God and then wonder why God’s Word doesn’t work for them. If we want God’s Word to work for us, we must side in with it.

If you need healing, you don’t want it in the future – you want it right now, especially if you’re in pain. If you are seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, you want to receive now – not at some future indefinite time. If you need salvation, you cannot put it off to the future, for that may be too late. I have talked to people who told me that they hoped to be saved. Yet some of them are now dead. They left the world unsaved, because salvation that is based on hope never comes to fruition.

Ephesians 2:8, 9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 10:9, 10, 13
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The above verses point man to the plan of salvation. We see that it is by faith – not hope – that we are saved. Jesus promised that He will not cast any out who come to Him, but will save all who “call upon the name of the Lord.” Therefore, we don’t need to hope that He will save us. He said He would.

PRAY
AS WE STEP OUT TODAY MAY GOD GO WITH US.

MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT LEAD US TO OUR BLESSINGS.

MAY THE LORD CONNECT US TO THE NOBLES IN THE SOCIETY .

MAY THE LORD LIFT US UP ABOVE OUR ENEMIES

AND MERCY SPEAK FOR US LORD IN JESUS CHRIST NAME AMEN.

A WORD
We need the voice of God to show us the way forward. Those times when we are at crossroads or filled with confusion not knowing what exactly God wants us to do, these are the times we need to get still and wait upon God to hear His voice of divine direction.
There will be times we may not know the definite directions to take in life. But God always knows what is best for us. This is why we must seek Him for guidance. When we commit ourselves to calling upon God through prayers,, He will show us great and mighty things. In Jeremiah 33:3, God said: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”. Indeed God guides the steps of His children who seek Him in prayer. When we pray, The Holy Spirit will be our shepherd, leading us to our green pastures in life. Through His guidance we will enjoy profiting and progress in every area of life. However, to be led by the Spirit of God, we must be able to recognize His voice. This comes from spending quality time in prayers and meditating on the Word.
When we meditate on the Word of God, we are training our human spirit to recognize God’s voice and be more in tune with what He says to us.
When we finally receive the desired divine guidance, we will experience peace and calm assurance of knowing that God is in perfect control of our lives. Failure to pay the required spiritual price of prayer is what causes men to walk in fear, anxiety, and worry.
The truth is that, either you will labor spiritually to hear God’s voice and be at rest or you will find yourself always anxious and plagued by uncertainties..Today, as we commit to living a life of diligently seeking God’s guidance, surely, He will lead us into the great and mighty plans He has lined up for us this year.

PRAY
Lord, please give me the strength to diligently seek Your face in my life’s journey. Thank You Lord, for granting me the wisdom to discern Your voice and always follow Your divine instructions in Jesus Name Amen.
