One thing I want every thrift seller, especially beginners, to understand:

If a supplier tells you a bale is First Grade, please don’t automatically assume that there will be zero clearance pieces inside when you open it.

Even with a first-grade bale, you may still find a few pieces that are not exactly what you expected. That doesn’t necessarily mean the bale is bad or that you were scammed.

Know what you’re buying before you invest your money.
Understanding bale grades, what to expect inside each bale, and how to identify quality is very important in this business.
