But the truth?
Marriage is not built to survive on 50/50.
Here’s why.

1. Marriage Is Not a Business Contract
When people say 50/50, they often mean:
Split the bills equally
Split the chores equally
Split responsibilities equally
On paper, that sounds reasonable.
But marriage is not a transaction. It is not an agreement where two people contribute the minimum required and keep score.

Life as a mother of a toddler is already a full-time job. Now imagine adding school, work, and running a business to it. That’s my everyday reality—and honestly, it can be so exhausting.

Some days start before the sun rises. My toddler needs attention, school deadlines are waiting, work responsibilities won’t pause, and my business still needs to move forward. There are moments I feel overwhelmed, tired, and stretched in every direction. Sometimes, I wonder how I manage to keep going at all.
But in the middle of the stress, I’ve learned powerful lessons. I’ve learned patience—because toddlers teach it daily. I’ve learned time management—because every minute matters. Most importantly, I’ve learned strength. The kind you don’t know you have until life demands it from you.

Balancing all these roles hasn’t been easy, but it has shaped me. It has taught me that progress doesn’t have to be perfect. Showing up, even when tired, still counts. Small efforts every day can build something meaningful.
