DAY 2 OF THE 15 DAYS TO GRADUATION CHALLENGE 🎓

Getting the Scholarship from TechCrush was a moment of excitement and gratitude for me. It opened the door to learning Data Analytics and building skills that allow me to turn raw data into meaningful insights.

This opportunity has pushed me to grow, challenge myself, go out of my comfort zone and take real steps toward a career in tech.

Grateful for the journey and the knowledge gained so far.

DAY 1 OF THE 15 DAYS TO GRADUATION CHALLENGE 🎓

I’m currently studying Data Analytics at TechCrush through the TechCrush Scholarship.

One project I’m particularly proud of is this Tourism Performance Analysis Dashboard I built using Power BI.

In this project, I analyzed tourism data to uncover insights such as:
• Total tourism revenue and GDP contribution
• Tourist inflow trends across months
• Top countries generating tourism revenue
• Revenue distribution by purpose of visit
• And many more

This project has 2 more dashboards with in-depth insight which I will be sharing later.

This experience has helped me develop practical skills in data cleaning, data visualization, and turning raw data into meaningful insights for decision-making.

Excited to keep learning and growing in the world of data!

DAY 3 — MY LEARNING WORKSPACE 💻📊✨

These are my learning workspaces — first at work, second at home. The truth is, my classroom isn’t just one location. I literally learn anywhere I find myself whenever there’s free time ⏳

At work, I use every available break to practice — running SQL queries, reviewing datasets, and writing notes 📝At home, I continue with dashboards, assignments, and project practice 📈

Sometimes it’s not even my laptop — I just use my phone to watch practice videos and tutorials on YouTube and keep learning 📱🎥

What makes this setup special is not how fancy it looks — it’s the consistency behind it. Showing up daily. Learning in small pockets of time. Turning ordinary spaces into growth spaces 🚀

Progress over perfection. Anywhere can become a tech lab if you’re committed enough 🔥

DAY 2 — BIGGEST TECH MYTH I’VE PERSONALLY DEBUNKED 💻✨

One big myth I used to believe about tech was that it’s only for people with a computer science background 🎓 or those who have been coding since their school days 👨🏽‍💻📚

I didn’t study a tech-related course in university, and my awareness of the tech industry came much later — after NYSC. Because of that, I convinced myself that I was already behind ⏳ and that getting into tech would be too difficult or too late for me 🚫

That belief completely changed when I began my Data Analytics journey with TECHCRUSH through their scholarship program. I’ve now seen firsthand that tech — especially data analytics — is skill-based, learnable, and accessible to anyone who is willing to stay consistent and keep practicing 📊📈

Working with tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL and Power BI has shown me that you don’t need to know everything at once to begin 🧩 You simply need to start ▶️ remain teachable 🧠 and grow step by step 👣

Tech is not reserved for a select few — it’s for learners, problem-solvers, and anyone ready to grow and improve 🌱🔥

MY “BEFORE TECH” STORY
🎓 I finished university in 2023 and completed my NYSC in March 2025. After that phase, I honestly felt lost and unsure about what to do next.
I applied for many jobs — banks, internships, and graduate trainee roles — and attended several interviews. One of the most notable was with GLO, and I’m still waiting for feedback till today. It was a long season of waiting and uncertainty.

🏫 Right now, I work as a sports instructor at Faith Academy. I believe God made it so to prepare me for greater things ahead. What looked like a delay became a season that built my discipline, patience, and resilience.
💻 My awareness of the tech industry’s potential didn’t come while I was in school — it came much later after NYSC. Discovering Data Analytics changed my direction. Since I started this journey, I’ve seen a lot of positive changes in my life and added real value to myself through the tech program. I’ve been building skills in data tools and analytical thinking, and it has given me clarity and confidence about my career path.

🚀 The TECHCRUSH scholarship came at the right time. I came across it on the internet and applied just for applying sake, not knowing I was making a great decision. TECHCRUSH is the organization I’m learning Data Analytics from, and they gave me the scholarship opportunity that started this journey for me.

🙏 I’m grateful for the timing. I thank God for opening my consciousness now — this is the best time for me to discover this path, and I don’t regret anything.
With the data analytics knowledge and skills I’m building, I’m ready to work and contribute meaningfully in any organization that gives me the opportunity.
Still learning. Still building. Still moving forward.

JOY OVERFLOWING😇🎉 I'm thrilled to share that my NYSC CDS project, a Volleyball court 🏐, has been officially commissioned🎊🤗
This dream became a reality on March 20th, 2025 at Mann-Obi group of schools, Iye-Ekiti 🏫. I'm still grinning from ear to ear😁. I'm grateful for the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on my host community 🙏.
