STORY TIME‼️‼️‼️‼️

The day i realized that you need to own up to your words and let people know when they are wrong instead of pampering their ego was back then when i was a fresher in college.

I have a friend that we were always going home together by lapping each other in the bus and split our transport fare into half and save the remaining.

We were steadily doing that until one day she said she lost her money and i had to pay in full but it ddnt stop there,she started making more excuses day in day out and as per good girl i was always footing the bill😩

Then one day i saw her during lunch break as she was galavanting her money and buying all sorts then i realized she had been eating her tfare and making me pay whenever she gives excuses.

I was not that bold to confront her that i saw her when she told me that same day on our way to the bus stop that her mum is broke and she ddnt give her much that day.
I already made up my mind that i wont pay that day but i couldn't afford to leave her.
I had to lie that i lost my money also and we had to resort to trekking over 120km home😩😩😩

We got home very late in the evening and by night i couldn't feel my legs anymore...it was aching and trembling 😢

I caused myself the pain because i couldn't confront her with the truth .
I had my full transport fare and i could have left her and make her learn her lesson but i had to join her to learn the lesson.

The following day after limping towards the school gate together i had to tell her that i am not interested in our transportation relationship anymore.
But i guessed she learnt her lesson because she begged me and started giving me her tfare for evening every morning probably because she can't control her spending.
But i learnt a lesson also....
