The girl you were might have made mistakes you are not proud of. There may be things you did, choices you made, and seasons of your life that still make you feel ashamed.

But listen carefully: the woman you are today should not be ashamed of the girl you were.

She is gone. That version of you is dead.

Not because her past never happened, but because you have grown beyond it. You have learned. You have healed. You have gained wisdom from the things that once broke you.

So stop punishing yourself for a chapter you have already closed.

The woman you are today is standing where that girl once stood, determined to make things right, determined to do better, and determined to become everything she once hoped she could be.

Honor your growth. Forgive your past. And keep becoming.
