I recently dove into a book chapter about building success, whether it's in business, academia, or more. The book emphasizes that you can't build success alone; you need four key pillars: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦.

Let's focus on 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟 for now. To build a strong foundation, you need to develop five essential areas in a specific order:

👉 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 (𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞)
👉 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 (𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬)
👉 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 (𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬)

The interesting part? Two of these areas, knowledge and skills are like rock-solid foundations that can't be taken away, even in turbulent times. The other three can be impacted, but knowledge and skills will always remain.

I went to the market yesterday, determined to find the perfect fabric for my upcoming designs. I visited vendor after vendor, inspecting fabrics, checking textures, and visualizing the final product. The market was bustling with activity, and I had to navigate through crowds to find what I was looking for.

As i made my way through the crowded market, I encountered a mix of excitement and frustration. Some fabrics caught my eye, but upon closer inspection, they didn't quite meet my expectations. Others were lovely, but the quality wasn't quite right.

Just when I thought I'd never find it, I stumbled upon a small vendor with a hidden gem of a fabric. It was exactly what I had been searching for – the perfect combination of texture, color, and quality. I knew right then and there that I had found the fabric that would bring my designs to life.

With my fabric in hand, I'm now excited to start working on my designs, and I can't wait to share the final result with you!
