📏✂️ MEASUREMENTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN FASHION DESIGNING! 👗❤️

My fellow fashion designers, come closer! 😂😂 Make we yarn small!

One of the most important things you must never joke with when making a dress is MEASUREMENTS! 📏✂️

You see, we women, our bodies can increase or decrease from time to time. Abi, am I lying? 😂🙈 Sometimes, the body we measured last month might not be exactly the same as the body we have today. Weight changes, pregnancy, hormonal changes, and other factors can affect our body measurements.

Let me share a recent experience with you all. 😂

Over the past few weeks, I had an experience with one of my clients that taught me a very important lesson.

I had completed her dress, and when it was time for her to try it on, we discovered that the chest area was too tight! 😩😭

The funny thing was that the other parts of the dress fitted her perfectly. It was just the chest area that gave us a little drama! 😂😂

At that moment, I started wondering, "Wait ooo, from when we took these measurements till now, wetin happen? Body, na you do this one?" 😂🤣

Honestly, experiences like this remind us that no matter how well we know our clients' measurements, the body can change at any time!

And do you know the biggest lesson I learned from this experience? 🤔👇

MY FELLOW DESIGNERS, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES A CLIENT TELLS YOU, "YOU ALREADY HAVE MY MEASUREMENTS, JUST USE THEM," PLEASE, RE-MEASURE THAT CLIENT! 📏✂️❤️

Don't be too comfortable with old measurements. Take a few minutes to confirm them again before cutting that beautiful fabric.

Because, my people, na when you don finish the dress, sew everything, and the clothes refuse to enter that eye go clear! 😂😭

And at that point, the designer and the client will begin to look at each other like, "So, what happened here?" 😂😂

Abeg ooo, let's avoid stories that touch the heart! 😭🤣

As fashion designers, our job is not just to sew beautiful outfits; it is also to ensure that our clients get the perfect fit and feel comfortable in what they wear.

📌 LESSON OF THE DAY: Never assume that your client's measurements are still the same. Confirm, re-measure, and then sew!
