Illustration of my boubou dress

(1) Cut your fabric same way we cut boubou dresses

(2) You can cut without or with joining on the shoulder

(3) Fold and slant into 2,as I slated in the paper illustration,then join the front with half inch leaving 8 0r 9inches at the upper part

For the back,join using half inch as well and any inches at the back,I used 11inches for my own.

If you have joining at the shoulders,then join the front and back together.then hem the the opening at the front and back.

(4) for the bias at the back,cut 1.5inches by 8 or 9inches depending on your back,I used 8inches….sew half inches and turn the remaining 1inch,iron and sew at the back.measure 2 or 3inches from your shoulder down and sew the bias on it to the next shoulder.

(5) hem the sleeves and sew the sides using 1inch,if you want sides slit,you measure any inches you had like but I use 15inches for my own,sew the slit opening and hem the down.

Note: no cutting of any Vneck in the style.
