When the temperature drops—especially during cold mornings or the rainy season—these fats begin to harden, causing the oil to become thick or completely solid. This is a completely normal process and does not mean the oil has expired or lost its quality.
Once the weather becomes warmer or you gently warm the container by placing it in warm water (avoid direct fire), the palm oil will return to its normal liquid state without losing its taste, color, or nutritional value.
