My time at the just concluded IWD 2026 event, organized by the and hosted by Access Bank, was nothing short of a deeply inspiring and transformative experience.
I couldn’t take my eyes off the powerful women of impact who graced the stage and shared their stories of victory—openly, sincerely, and without gatekeeping.
Some of my key takeaways:
📌As a woman building from the ground up and growing into who you desire to become, never see your cup as half empty; always see it as half full. You already have what it takes to start from where you are. Your story is powerful, don’t let anyone dilute or rewrite it.
These words were beautifully shared by
📌Another profound insight came from Ma , Oby Ezekwesili:
As a woman, never trade your values for anything. Let your values guide your choices in relationships, friendships, and every decision you make.
She also reminded us never to despise the family we come from. Our upbringing, shaped by different personalities and experiences, has contributed in one way or another to who we are today.
Whether educated or not, our mothers have significantly influenced the individuals we have become.
📌In this era where Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world, we must not lose our humanity. This is the time to refine and master our unique gifts, skills, and talents.
AI may get the work done faster, but it is our humanness, our authenticity and depth that truly sets us apart.
No woman should be limited by societal norms. When women rise, the nation thrives. We are ready to give value, to build, and to create wealth that impacts generations.
I cannot capture everything here, but I am deeply grateful to the and Access Bank for creating such a powerful platform, giving women access to wisdom, guidance, and inspiration from those who have gone ahead of us.
❤️They help us see what lies ahead and guide us so we don’t stumble but instead rise prepared.
📌A heartfelt thank you 💙
💃 A new month is upon us. Welcome, April 😊☺️
