There was a time Machine A did the job perfectly.

At that time, it was the best thing available mainly for cover buttons, and that function alone made it extremely valuable.

But with time, innovation happened.
Fashion needs evolved.

Cover buttons are no longer the only requirement.
Now we need eyelets, press buttons, and multiple finishing functions done faster, cleaner, and more efficiently.
And that’s where Machine B came in.

Looking at both machines made me realize something:
What once worked can become outdated not because it’s bad, but because growth demands better.

Innovation doesn’t ask for permission.
It doesn’t wait for comfort.
It simply moves forward.

So yes… I was forced to get Machine B, even though Machine A is still here 😢
That’s the cost of growth, and the reality of upgrading.

Every Wednesday, my son wants to wear a particular shoe to school.
And every Wednesday, I say no.

He groans,
“Why can’t I wear it?”
And we move on… until the next Wednesday.

Today, after I said no again, he asked,
“Why?”

I replied, I’ve told you why na
He said,
No, Mommy. You only said it’s a party shoe.”

That made me pause.

So I explained:
Your school has rules. You wear a uniform and on Wednesdays, the shoe must be plain white. That one is colorful, so it’s for parties or Events

He listened and said,
“Oh… I understand.”

No groaning.
No argument.

And I realized something.

He wasn’t being stubborn.
He just needed the reason.

Sometimes, explaining matters more than repeating.
