It’s children’s day today and our hearts are heavy🥹🥹🥹

Today is Children’s Day… and as a mother, my heart feels especially heavy.

I look at my own children, hold them a little closer, and I honestly cannot begin to imagine what it must feel like for any parent whose child is away from home in such painful uncertainty.

Children should be safe.They should be learning, laughing, playing, and simply being children.

My heart is with every child, every parent waiting and hoping, and every teacher standing strong through this difficult time.

Today, while we celebrate children, I’m also saying a prayer for the children who are not with their families right now—and for the families carrying this weight every single moment.

May they be kept safe.May they be reunited with those who love them.May hope remain alive. 🤍
