๐ The Hajj Story That Proves Goodness Always Returns! ๐
You won't believe the amazing people I met in Mecca during hajj.
The Hajj rites ended!!!
Picture this: everyone is packed, luggage is going to the carriers and suddenly, most airlines can't take the bags! ๐ฉ Except for the Abuja flight. If you were going to Lagos or Ilorin, your bags were landing in Abuja first. Needless to say, many pilgrims were stressed about their precious luggage.
I ran into a group of medical professionals I'd met before, and they were trying to figure out a plan. One of them, an elderly nurse, was clearly anxious. Another lady was actually teasing her about it!
Instead of laughing, I listened to her concerns and offered a simple suggestion. It was a small thing, but it immediately earned her trust. We started talking, and she eventually got her situation sorted. From that moment on, sheโd always stop me to chat.
The Story That Gave Me Chills ๐ฅถ
One day, she shared the unbelievable story of how she came to Hajj:
She told me that recently, a circular was sent out in her local government in Kwara State. It was looking for a nurse from 30-40 years ago who had taken care of a sick mother who gave birth to two boys.
Guess who the nurse was? It was her!
She was found and put on a call with one of the grown-up sons. He wanted to sponsor her entire Hajj trip as a thank you for the loving care she showed his late mother all those years ago! ๐ญ
Hereโs the part that blew my mind: She couldn't recognize him, and she even confessed that she once chased him with a cane and smacked him for not giving his mum her medicine on time! ๐
Despite the discipline, his gratitude was so deep that he remembered her kindness and diligence and repaid it in the most incredible way.
Itโs proof that genuine care leaves a lasting impact. You never know whose life you are changing! SubhanAllah.
