🌿 Advice for Married Couples – Part 1
1. Put God at the Center
Whether through prayer, worship, or shared values, allow faith to guide your home. A marriage that acknowledges God finds strength in Him during trials and joy in Him during blessings.
2. Communicate Openly
Silence creates distance. Talk often—about your day, your dreams, your struggles. Communication is not just speaking, but also listening with patience and understanding.
3. Respect Each Other
Respect is deeper than love. Love can be emotional, but respect is a decision. Respect your spouse’s opinions, time, family, and individuality.
4. Forgive Quickly
No two people can live together without disagreements. Holding grudges poisons intimacy. Learn to forgive, even when you don’t feel like it. Forgiveness is the oil that keeps the marriage running smoothly.
5. Spend Quality Time Together
Life gets busy, but don’t let work, children, or responsibilities steal your bond. Have moments just for the two of you—walks, meals, laughter, even quiet time.
6. Protect Your Union
Not everyone should know your private matters. Avoid third-party interference, whether from friends, extended family, or social media. Guard your marriage like a precious jewel.
