Some moments are meant to be respected, not recorded.

It’s honestly disturbing how some people attend burials and, instead of comforting the grieving family, their priority is taking pictures and making videos of people at their most vulnerable.

Someone is crying. Someone is broken. Someone is saying goodbye to a loved one, and the next thing, a phone is in their face recording everything.

Not every moment needs to become content. Not every picture needs to be taken. And not every vulnerable moment belongs on social media.

Sometimes, the most respectful thing you can do is put your phone away and simply be present. 🖤

Next month is our Anniversary Month

And honestly, when I look back at this journey, I’m filled with gratitude. It hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges, uncertainties, slow seasons, and moments when I wondered how far we would go.

But through it all, God has been faithful. 🙏🏽

From the little beginnings to where Funmie Fashionista is today, every step has been a reminder that consistency, resilience and grace can take you places you never imagined.

So, as we prepare to celebrate next month, I’m not just celebrating an anniversary…

I’m celebrating God’s faithfulness.

I started Funmie Fashionista simply because I wanted to do more. I didn’t have everything figured out, I didn’t know how far it would go, and I definitely didn’t know what the journey would look like.

But God did.

There were seasons that tested us, moments that made me question things, and times when standing still felt easier than moving forward. Yet, through it all, God kept making a way.

Now, as we step into our anniversary month, I’m not just celebrating a brand. I’m celebrating God’s faithfulness.

They said there was no room at the top, but God made room for us. 🙏🏽

And honestly, all I can say is:

LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE!
