THE MESSAGE MY HUSBAND DELETED BEFORE I COULD READ IT.

CHAPTER 4

I couldn't move.

The little girl standing beside David couldn't have been older than six.

She had his eyes.

His smile.

Even the way she tilted her head looked exactly like him.

My heart pounded so hard it hurt.

I stayed hidden inside my car and watched them from a distance.

The little girl laughed as David lifted her into his arms.

It wasn't the smile of a stranger.

It was the smile of a father.

Tears filled my eyes.

Has my husband been living a double life?

Was this the truth he had been hiding?

Then a woman stepped out of the building.

The same woman who had called me.

I recognized her voice immediately.

She looked around nervously before walking toward David and the child.

My chest tightened.

This was it.

The other family.

The secret family.

But something happened that made no sense.

The woman handed David a thick brown envelope.

Instead of smiling, David looked worried.

He opened it and quickly flipped through the papers.

His face turned pale.

The little girl stopped laughing.

Even the woman looked frightened.

Then David said something that sent a chill through my entire body.

He whispered:

"She wasn't supposed to know she's alive."

The woman looked straight toward my car.

And our eyes met.

Who is ready for part 5?

THE MESSAGE MY HUSBAND DELETED BEFORE I COULD READ IT.

CHAPTER 3

My hands were still shaking after the call.

"Stop looking for David."

The woman's voice echoed in my head as I sat alone in my car.

Who was she?

And why was she warning me?

I drove home, hoping David would somehow explain everything.

But when I arrived, his car wasn't there.

That evening, while cleaning our bedroom, I noticed something unusual.

One of David's suitcases was missing.

I opened his closet.

Several shirts were gone too.

My heart sank.

Was he planning to leave me?

Then I saw a small black notebook hidden behind a stack of old files.

I had never seen it before.

Curious, I opened it.

Most of the pages contained dates, addresses, and phone numbers.

Nothing made sense until I reached the last page.

Written in David's handwriting were six words:

"She can never find out."

Underneath was an address.

Just one address.

I stared at it for several minutes.

The location was less than thirty minutes from our house.

The next morning, I decided to go there.

I didn't tell anyone.

Not even David.

When I finally arrived, I froze.

Standing in front of the building was my husband.

And beside him was a little girl who looked exactly like him.

THE MESSAGE MY HUSBAND DELETED BEFORE I COULD READ IT.
CHAPTER 2

The message wasn't from another woman.

At least, not the way I expected.
My hands shook as I stared at David's phone.

The message read:
"I miss her so much. When are you going to tell her the truth?"

I read it again.

And again.

Who was "her"?

And what is the truth?

Before I could open the conversation, I heard footsteps behind me.

I quickly locked the phone and turned around.

It was David.

He stood in the hallway, staring directly at me.

For a moment, neither of us spoke.

Then he smiled.

But it wasn't the smile I was used to.

It was forced.

Almost nervous.

"Why are you awake?" he asked.

"I couldn't sleep."

He nodded slowly.

Then his eyes moved to the phone in my hand.

The color immediately drained from his face.

For the first time in seven years, David looked afraid.

Not angry.

Afraid.

The next morning, he left for work earlier than usual.

But something didn't feel right.

Around noon, I decided to visit his office.

I wasn't planning to confront him.

I just wanted answers.

When I arrived, the receptionist looked confused.

"You're here to see David?"

"Yes."

She frowned.

"He hasn't worked here for three weeks."

I laughed.

"That can't be right."

She shook her head.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. David resigned twenty-three days ago."

My stomach dropped.

Every morning for the past three weeks, my husband had put on his work clothes, kissed me goodbye, and left the house.

But he wasn't going to work.

I stood frozen in the lobby.

Then my phone rang.

Unknown number.

I answered.

A woman's voice whispered:

"Stop looking for David."

And the call ended.

Who is ready for part 3?

THE MESSAGE MY HUSBAND DELETED BEFORE I COULD READ IT.

CHAPTER 1

I never imagined that a single deleted message would make me question my entire marriage.

My name is Amara.

For seven years, I believed I had the perfect husband.

David was loving, responsible, and always knew the right thing to say. Whenever my friends complained about their husbands, I secretly thanked God for mine.

At least, that was what I thought.

Last Tuesday evening, David came home unusually late.

When he entered the house, he looked distracted. His shirt was slightly wrinkled, and he kept checking his phone every few minutes.

"Everything okay?" I asked.

He smiled.

"Just work stress."

Something about that smile felt different.

During dinner, his phone lit up on the table.

A message appeared on the screen.

I wasn't trying to snoop.

But before I could look away, I saw the sender's name.

It simply read:

"My Love โค๏ธ"

My heart stopped.

David quickly grabbed the phone.

Within seconds, the notification disappeared.

He locked the screen and slipped the phone into his pocket.

I forced a smile.

"Who was that?"

He didn't even hesitate.

"Wong number."

Wrong number?

Who saves a wrong number as "My Love โค๏ธ"?

That night, while David was asleep, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Around 2:00 a.m., I quietly got out of bed to drink some water.

As I walked past the living room, I noticed something strange.

David's phone was glowing on the coffee table.

A new message had arrived.

The same contact.

My Love โค๏ธ

My hands trembled as I picked up the phone.

For the first time in seven years, I entered the password I had watched him type hundreds of times.

The screen unlocked.

And the message was still there.

The moment I read the first line, my entire world changed.

Because the sender wasn't who I thought it was.

Comment part 2 and I will drop the next part..

Before she checked her phone.

Before she opened her emails.

Before she looked at her schedule.

She prayed.

Because she has learned the hard way that no amount of planning, hustling or strategizing replaces the one conversation that actually orders your steps.

"Lord, go before me today. Cover what I cannot see. Fix what I cannot reach. And remind me that You are still in control of everything that feels out of control." ๐Ÿ™

Start your Monday covered.

A woman who moves with God moves differently all week long.

Happy New week... This new week is blessed.
