FROM “CAN THIS BE REPAIRED?” TO “WOW, IT’S NEW AGAIN!” 👞✨
Sometimes, the shoe you’re about to throw away may only need the right hands.
A woman walked into my store one day holding a worn-out pair of footwear. She came with a simple question:
“Can this shoe still be repaired?”
I took a good look at it.
The upper was already badly worn out and could no longer be used. At that point, simply repairing the damaged part wasn’t going to be enough.
So, I took it over.
I removed the old, unusable upper and started the restoration process from there.
Piece by piece, I worked on it—measuring, cutting, shaping, stitching and carefully putting everything together again.
And then came the transformation. ❤️
What looked like a footwear that had reached the end of its journey was given a completely new upper and a fresh look.
This experience reminded me of something I truly value as a shoemaker:
Good craftsmanship isn't always about making something from scratch. Sometimes, it's about knowing when something can be given another chance.
That old footwear didn't need to become waste.
It needed skill, patience and the right approach.
So before you throw away that favourite pair because the upper is worn out, torn or damaged, let us take a look at it first.

One thing many business owners get wrong is follow-up.
A customer asks for the price.

You answer everything…
Then silence. 😶
What do you do?
Don't immediately assume they've changed their mind.
Sometimes they're:
