Thought to share this useful tip when working with darts. It's very important that you close up your dart on your pattern paper and trace across with your tracing wheel, before adding seam as shown in the video. ..
Notice the triangular shape at the base of the dart? It's an indicator that your dart is properly traced. If not properly done, you have shortage of fabric when sewing your fabric after closing up the dart which does not give a proper finishing to your outfit. ..

Starting the new month with this video showing dart transfer from one point to the other. ..
Darts are very interesting and can be moved to different positions on a garment for design purposes. ..
It is important to note that for a dart to be transferred, you need to cut open the new dart position to the base of the old dart 🙂
