Sometime early this year, I needed my mom so badly! Like so so badly! There were days I broke down wishing I could have one conversation at least with her cos it felt only a mother will understand me.

Then something struck me! My mom healed children with clay! She was quite popular in my place for what she did with herbs and clay.

So for some reason, I felt like working on a dress with clay was going to help me connect to her somehow and not, it did!

I had so much fun making different motifs with clay. I still have tons I haven’t used and something else happened. I made so many videos of the process but lost them cos my phone crashed at some point but only this one clip survived.

This video has been sitting in my gallery for a little while and I sure do have a big sentimental attachment to it.

Now, every time I make something with clay, I just say. “My mom healed with clay, I’m creating with clay” so cool 😎
