A custom pair of white shoes ordered as a Christmas gift by a loving daughter for her dad, to be used for his initiation ceremony into the Igbo traditional Nze na Ọzọ society.

The 'Nze na Ọzọ' society is the highest and most important spiritual and social groupings in the Igbo society. Initiation into the aristocratic society marks the person as nobility.

During the initiation ceremony, one typically wears an all white outfit (white shirt, white trousers and white shoes) and tops it off with a red cap.
