Heritage Garden to the world
Some projects begin as ideas. This one began with the children and young people I have met along the way. π
Children who were overwhelmed by feelings they couldnβt name.
Teenagers carrying thoughts they didnβt quite know how to explain.
Families wanting to help, but sometimes unsure where to begin.
Over the years, one question has stayed with me:
What if we taught our children how to care for their minds with the same intention that we teach them to care for their bodies?
That question became My Mind Toolkit Collection.
I wanted to create more than books. I wanted to create practical companions for the difficult days β something a young person could open and think, βThis makes sense. I can try this.β
The collection includes My Mind Toolkit, together with dedicated Pre-Teen and Teen Workbooks, designed to help young people understand their emotions, work through difficult thoughts, build resilience and recognise when they need to reach out for help.
As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, this work is deeply personal to me. I believe every young person deserves not only to be told that their mental health matters, but to be given practical tools to look after it.
So today, Iβm incredibly proud β and a little emotional β to finally introduce something that has been a true labour of love:
π MY MIND TOOLKIT COLLECTION π
For the big feelings.
For the difficult thoughts.
For the hard days.
And for every young person learning that caring for their mind is a skill they can build β one tool at a time.
