DAY 2 — YOU ARE NOT JUST A TAILOR
Let me tell you something today, my fellow tailor:
Stop introducing yourself as “just a tailor.”
You are not “just” a tailor.
You have a skill that took years to develop.
You take measurements.
You understand fabrics.
You cut.
You sew.
You fit.
You correct mistakes.
You solve problems that the average person cannot solve.
You take a piece of fabric and transform it into something someone is willing to spend serious money wearing.
That is VALUE.
The problem is that many of us understand how to sew but don’t understand how to put a value on what we do.
And that’s why you can be extremely busy and still be broke.
Being busy doesn’t mean you’re profitable.
From today, start looking at yourself differently.
You are not just a tailor.
You are a skilled professional.
And until you begin to understand your own value, don’t expect everybody else to understand it for you.
Tailor, come and sit down. We’re just getting started.
