It was a delight to deck up in my attire to speak to kids about the . We sang and danced and the children had fun and so did i 💃💃

In all our learnings, our heritage and traditions is one thing that we should pass down. while I would truthfully say that I am not deeply into it, the aspects that I have known and followed have formed me greatly

Sometimes, we just feel tired and overwhelmed and seem to stop in our tracks. Or we feel that we are doing it all wrong but that we are alive is very well a miracle because our breathe is a miracle so dear beloved, dont hold that breath, just let it out and breathe

Feel you lungs taking in air and take the oxygen in. Your strength comes again. Put the praise back on and let everything that has breath...literally everything that has breath, praise the Lord

Today as Monday, reminded me of a few Mondays ago. Monday, October 11th was world girl child day and i had a discussion with one of my sons a few days later and it went like this

Son: Mum, may I ask you a question

Me: Go on

Son: They are always celebrating the girl child every time, every where...in schools all over, what about the boy child, dont we have a day?

Sharp mother that I am, i told him that boys were special and had their day of celebration too then i went to research. Its May 16th.

it made me realise again that every child needs to be validated and confidence built into and a balance needs to be created both for the boy child and girl child.

why send this today? Today is as good a day as any day to validate both gender but let's be deliberate about the next year for every child.
