MOCHA
A rich, warm variation of brown that sits between taupe and coffee brown. It is inspired by coffee — lighter and warmer than coffee brown, yet deeper than soft neutrals.
The name “mocha” originates from the port city of Al-Makha in Yemen, once a major exporter of high-quality coffee beans. The rich brown tone associated with coffee from that region inspired the colour we now recognize as mocha.
In modern fashion, the rise of quiet luxury has made mocha highly desirable — a warm, earthy neutral that feels refined and intentional.
Rich in tone, gentle in presence — it defines luxury without noise.
Today, mocha symbolizes: Grounded confidence.
Stability.
Elegance.
Timeless sophistication.
It does not chase trends.
It establishes atmosphere.
In fashion, mocha works effortlessly when styled:
▫ Monochromatically — layering different shades of brown for a high-fashion “old money” editorial look
â–« With neutrals like white, ivory, taupe, beige, and cream for soft sophistication
â–« With deeper tones such as chocolate brown, navy, teal, orange, or ruby red for grounded elegance
â–« Accented with gold jewellery to enhance its warm undertones
Mocha is not just a shade.
It is tranquility wrapped in luxury.
Where do you prefer your mocha — in fabric or accessories? 🤎
Earth. Tone. Presence.
The series unfolds.
