Elon Musk predicts that money may lose much of its value by 2036 if advances in AI and robotics create a future of abundance.
During a conversation with The Economist Editor-in-Chief Zanny Minton Beddoes, Musk explained that if AI can produce goods and services at a scale far beyond human demand, the need for money as a way to allocate resources could largely disappear.
