NOT EVERY SILENCE MEANS “I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.”

Sometimes, you’re quiet because you’ve finally learned that not every battle deserves your energy.

There was a time I felt the need to explain myself whenever someone misunderstood me.

I wanted everyone to know my intentions.

I wanted to prove that I wasn't the bad person they thought I was.

Until I realized something…

People who have already decided to misunderstand you will find a reason to do so, even after you explain yourself perfectly.

So I stopped explaining everything.

I stopped fighting every accusation.

I stopped trying to convince everyone to see me the way I see myself.

Not because I became weak.

I simply became more protective of my peace.

And honestly, there is a certain freedom that comes when you stop needing everybody to understand you.

Sometimes, let them think what they want.
Your character will eventually speak louder than your explanations.

AS YOU GROW, BE CAREFUL WHO YOU KEEP CLOSE.

I once heard something that stayed with me:
Sometimes, the people you need around you aren't the ones who clap the loudest when you win.

You need the ones who can look at you, even when your name has become bigger, your account is fuller, and your influence has grown, and still say:
“You’re wrong.”

Not because they hate you.

Not because they are jealous of your success.

But because they love you enough to tell you the truth.

Success can be dangerous when everyone around you becomes too afraid to correct you.

When your money becomes so important that people start protecting your ego instead of protecting you.

When every bad decision is applauded because nobody wants to lose their access to you.

When “Yes, boss” becomes more common than “Are you sure this is the right thing to do?”

That's why I pray for people who won't be intimidated by the version of me that succeeds.

People who will celebrate my growth without competing with me.
People who will correct me without trying to bring me down.
People who can sit with the successful version of me and still remember the person I was before the success.

Because you don't just need people who will celebrate your success.

You need people who will help you remain a good person while you're succeeding.

May we never become so successful that the people who love us become afraid to tell us the truth.

BEFORE AUGUST ENDS, I WANT YOU TO THINK ABOUT THIS…

I know this month came with challenges.

Some of you faced situations that made you ask:
“God, where are You?”

Some lost loved ones.
Some lost opportunities.
Some lost contracts.
Some watched doors they prayed for close right in front of them.

And honestly, some people are beginning to question whether God is even listening.

But let me remind you of something:
GOD IS STILL GOD.

He lives.
He reigns.
He sees what you cannot see.
He knows the beginning and the end.
He knows what will happen in the next second, the next minute, the next hour and even the days you haven't stepped into yet.

That's why I call Him the All-Knowing God. 🙏🏽

So please...
Don't abandon God because of what you don't understand.

The fact that you don't have the answer today doesn't mean He isn't working.

Sometimes, what feels like a closed door is protection.

Sometimes, what feels like delay is preparation.

And sometimes, the thing you cried over losing was never meant to be part of your story.

Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep trusting.

Your story is not over because August was difficult.

September can still carry the testimony you've been waiting for. ❤️

But before we enter a new month, I want to leave you with ONE question:
DO YOU KNOW YOUR MAKER?

Not “Have you heard about God?”
Not “Do you believe God exists?”
Do you KNOW Him?

Because knowing God is different from knowing about Him.

Before the month comes to an end, I just want to pause and say:
THANK YOU, LORD. 🙏🏽

For how far You've brought me.
For the things I prayed for and received.
For the things I didn't understand but You used to grow me.
For the doors You opened.
For the ones You closed.
For the battles You fought quietly.

August wasn't perfect, but God has been faithful.

And honestly, waking up this morning is already a testimony.

Thank You, Jesus, for keeping me this far. ❤️

One more day.
One more reason to be grateful.

A PRAYER WE DON'T PRAY ENOUGH. 🥺🙏🏽

Lord, may Your mercy reach the parts of my future that my prayers don't mention.

Protect me from conversations I will never hear, intentions I cannot detect, and opportunities whose hidden costs I cannot see.

Protect me from consequences I'm currently too inexperienced to imagine.

And when I'm confidently walking towards something that will eventually break me...

Please love me enough to stand in my way.

Because the truth is, sometimes we pray for God to open doors, but we forget to ask Him for the wisdom to know which doors are actually worth entering.

Sometimes rejection is protection.
Sometimes delay is mercy.
Sometimes losing something is God's way of preventing you from losing yourself.

And sometimes that thing you're crying over today is the very thing you'll thank God for removing tomorrow.

Not every closed door is an attack. Some are answered prayers disguised as disappointments.

So, Lord, give me the grace to trust You even when Your "NO" doesn't make sense to me.
