STORY TIME: The ₦2k Tailor vs The Prophecy 😭🪡

My elder sister believes in my craft. But distance + timing… you know the gist.

So she wanted 4 simple bubu dresses. For her + 3 kids.

Me, joking: “Sis, that’s ₦10k each. ₦40k total.” 😁😁

Sis: “Tori! 40k?! She laughed and said; where do I see that money, I have roadside tailor that will do it for 2k or 2,500.” Sharply

Me: “Ah okay o, we laugh out loud🤣 😁Give it to roadside tailor na.”
Me again, laughing: 😂😂“You will soon cry. (Jokingly) They will sew rubbish for you.”

3 DAYS LATER…

Phone rings.
Sis: “Tori…”
Me: “Ah sis! How far? What’s happening?”
Sis: “That’s not why I called you. The person spoiled the dress 😭”

ME: “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! bursts into laughter for like 3 minutes straight

The pain I felt ehn. Because that’s my sister.

I told her, am not promising you anything but let’s see how it goes.
So I went to my machine. Made her a surprise bubu. Shipped it. No bill.
