Yiiippppeeee.... it's such a beautiful Tuesday morning and I'm so excited. It's going to be a great day.
The story has been told of two young men who set out on a relocation journey. The first man got to the town's gate and met an elderly man at the entrance of the new town he was moving to. He told the man, "I heard that the people of this town are very wicked and selfish people". The man replied with a sad look, "well, you have said that yourself and that is exactly who they are". The young man continued in the town with a feeling of sadness and disappointment.
The second man came and met the same old man at the entrance. He greeted the old man and told him, "I heard the people of this town are very kind and accommodating". The old man replied with a big smile, "well, you have said it yourself. That is exactly who they are. Common on now, let me show you around the town".
This story once again reminds me of the power of perspective. What do you think about your job, spouse, children, pastor, church mem, co-workers, neighbours? What do you think about yourself? As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Today, pay attention to your mindset and intentionally improve it towards your life and everything and everyone around you.
Well, as for me I'm Ayanfeoluwa Akintunde, I am a force to reckon with. I'm the light of the world, the salt of the earth and the joy of many generations. The loins of Kings are opened unto me. Queens are my nursing mothers. Lines fall into me in pleasant places and yes, I have a goodly heritage. I am a delightsome land. My feet are forever washed in butter. I live a life of ease. The blessed calls me blessed. All things work together for my good because I love the Lord. I attract money and favour with ease. I am an ardent lover of God and men.
