I travelled out of Makurdi for the first time without my family 2 Sundays ago for a corset training with the Dress queen.

It took a lot of sacrifice, Hard work, and resilience.
I learnt a lot, I met beautiful people and of course the Dress queen Abuja(lovely lady).
I am grateful to God, family and friends.
Dawn Abah made my stay memorable. Thank you sister.
Thank you my darling husband for holding the forth while I was away. You mean so much to me.

I still remember the day of my send forth after completing my tailoring training. It was such an emotional moment. I'm truly grateful for the entire journey, not just for what I learnt in sewing, but also the life lessons and the relationships I built along the way.

Aunty Nkechi, in particular, left a big mark on me. She taught me the value of hard work and dedication. Her heartfelt prayers and the way she released me with love meant so much.

Benue SHE Project - Day 4
Yesterday's session focused on registering your business with CAC, business plan writing and how to pitch your business to investors.

Today( last day of training), I pitched my business before 3 judges. I was tensed initially but I quickly adjusted after few seconds of talking.
I loved every bit of this experience and I remain grateful to Dr Terese Shadrach Akpem, Mr Tamen Kuma and other facilitators of the Benue SHE project for this opportunity.
I am glad to have met and interacted with other amazing women who want to grow their business.
This is the starting line for us all.
We shall soar!
We shall win!
We shall make progress!

Yesterday's session focused on Understanding your personality traits and types, Being a good business leader, Growing your business and How to pitch your business.

Key Takeaway:
I gained valuable insights into knowing and understanding my personality traits and how I can use it to enhance LONYES CLOTHING operations especially with managing customers and marketing my business.

Today's session focused on raising capital, managing finances, financial literacy for small businesses, business model canvases, and digital marketing.

Today, I gained valuable insights into the business model canvas, particularly how it enhances clarity in business operations. I'm eager to design a professional business model canvas for LONYES CLOTHING!

It's such a privilege and I am grateful to be among the 50 passionate women business owners. I’m excited about the impact this training will bring to my business and community!

DAY ONE of our training: We had sessions on 'Business Fundamentals', 'Customer Relations and Management' and SWOT analysis.
My take home is how SWOT can help to plan my business and access my business health.
It is a strategic tool, I will be using to analysis my business and ensure it is healthy in every regard.
