Things that I have learnt while sewing mesh and that has been helping me 👇

💥 Never add allowance while sewing a mesh. Infact I do deduct like 1 inch from my actual measurements because it's a stretchy materials.

💥 Don't drag it while sewing mesh, just sew it the way it is without dragging it on the sewing machine. Using a new sewing needle is advisable.

💥 Don't use your actual neck width and depth, shoulder measurements while cutting, deduct like 1 inch from the actual measurements. For instance if your neck width and depth is 3by 3, you can use 2 by 2 instead. If your shoulder is 8 use 7 instead. By the time you're done sewing it will come out fitted on your clients body.

💥 Use Lycra or stretchy material as the linen. You can either sew it together with the mesh or sew it separately.

💥 Drape styles is very nice with mesh materials 🥰

Note: I have done a lot of mistakes with mesh before but after putting all these things in place, I have never gone wrong with mesh materials 😉

Things that I have learnt while sewing mesh and that has been helping me 👇
