The Temptation
I had been selling perfumes for years, building a reputation for quality and authenticity. One day, a fellow vendor, Mrs. Adebayo, approached me with a proposal.

"Add some cheaper oils to your perfumes," she suggested. "No one will notice the difference. You'll make more profit, and your customers won't complain."

I hesitated, tempted by the promise of increased profits. But something didn't feel right. I thought about my loyal customers, who trusted me to provide the best.

I looked Mrs. Adebayo straight in the eye and said, "I appreciate your suggestion, but I won't compromise on quality. My customers deserve the best, and I won't betray their trust."

Mrs. Adebayo raised an eyebrow. "You're missing out on potential profits," she said.

I smiled. "My integrity is worth more than any amount of money."

I continued to sell my perfumes, unadulterated and authentic. My customers remained loyal, and my business thrived. I had made the right decision, one that reflected my values and commitment to quality.

Best Fragrances combo Alert

As I entered my supplier's store this afternoon, I made my order known to the boys at the shop.

After a while ,walked in a couple. Don't know if they're actually couples, because of the way the woman had dressed.

In this part of the Ìgbo land(Onitsha), once a woman has multiple piercing on her ears and nose, she cannot be presented as a wife. Societal norms not my perception though 😂 .

Something about her caught my attention, she held a long narrow transparent container meant for perfume Oil.

The man sat down while she scanned the shop for her choice of fragrances, I watched her mix up to six quality fragrances in the said container.

When she was satisfied with the results of the mixing, she brought out another one and continue mixing several fragrances.

Reality dawned on me, as I recall the words of a special business coach Uche Udoye Ogalue when I pre-pitched my perfume Oil business during the last women business conference .

" You could have told us you were a fragrance mixer", that would have been better.

I requested for few quality fragrances mix up and it came out fine and have been sold of.
