Happy Children’s Day to All Our Precious Children!
May each of them shine forth the glory of the Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name.
To all waiting mothers, may God’s mercy speak for you—you will carry your own baby(ies) in Jesus’ mighty name.
Let this Yoruba song be your heartfelt declaration:
"Aṣọ tó bá dára má ra fún ọmọ mi,
Bàtà tó bá dára má ra fún ọmọ mi..."
("If the cloth is good, I will buy it for my child; if the shoes are fine, I will buy them for my child...")
Give your children the best within your ability—clothing, education, love—without breaking the bank.
But above all, the greatest gift you can offer your child is showing them the way of God, and praying them into it.
