💼💰 EVERY NAIRA YOUR BUSINESS MAKES SHOULD HAVE A JOB.
Making sales is good, but knowing what to do with the money is what helps a business grow.
One mistake many small business owners make is treating every money that enters the business as spending money.
I use a simple 5-division system to give every income a purpose:
1. 🏦 BUSINESS SAVINGS — 30%
For future growth, equipment, branding, expansion and other major business needs.
2. 💵 SALARY — 30%
Your pay as the business owner. You should be able to earn from the business without randomly taking money from it.
3. 🧵 MATERIAL RESTOCK — 25%
To replace materials and keep production going after making sales.
4. 🧾 RUNNING EXPENSES — 10%
For everyday costs like transportation, data, packaging and other business needs.
5. 🛟 EMERGENCY — 5%
For unexpected expenses that could affect the business.
📌 Example: ₦7,000 Income
🏦 Savings — ₦2,100
💵 Salary — ₦2,100
🧵 Restock — ₦1,750
🧾 Expenses — ₦700
🛟 Emergency — ₦350
TOTAL = ₦7,000
The lesson is simple:
Don't just make money. Give your money a purpose. 🤎
Start small, stay consistent, and let your business grow with structure.
