You left choir because someone spoke to you the way you don't like.

You stopped ushering because someone offended you.

You left the media department because your HOD annoyed you.

You stopped playing keyboard because you were corrected in church.

You left church completely because your pastor rebuked you in public.

How many times have they offended you in the office?

How many times has your boss spoken to you roughly in the presence of costumers?

How many times have your colleagues insulted you in the office?

Why didn't you leave?
Why didn't you get angry and resign immediately or the following day!

Yet with all the insults and abusive words, you still came back to work the following day.

You got angry but still resumed work the following day, you didn't leave the office because you were provoked.

If they have not offended you before, then you are living in the midst of dead people.

Only dead people won't offend you, only dead people won't insult.

One thing you must understand is that as long as you are in the midst of people, offense must surely come.

Learn to tolerate people especially in church, if you can tolerate people at your working, how come you can't tolerate people in church.

"By the way who is paying me"
This is the kind of statement people make in church.

You left because they are not paying you, yet you don't know that service in God's vainyard can trigger a reward that 10 years salary can't give

The truth is that church you are going to, people will still provoke you there!

When your service is unto GOD, offense will be too small to stop you from serving

Serve genuinely and stop eye service.
