When I started sewing, there were so many things I wish someone had told me😅👇🏼
1. Mistakes don’t mean you’re bad.
Even experienced tailors redo stitches sometimes. The goal isn’t perfection it’s progress.
2. Good finishing takes time.
I used to rush just to see the final result, but neat finishing is what truly makes your work stand out.
3. Your iron is your best friend.
Press as you sew. It gives your clothes that clean, professional look that clients love.
4. Not every fabric behaves the same.
What works perfectly for cotton might not with satin. Learn your fabrics before cutting.
5. Clients notice the small things.
Clean stitches, neat inside finishing, nice packaging those little details make people trust your work.
