International Boys Conference 2023.

'Be a man' was a lesson many of us received from an early age.
We were told not to cry since men are tough when we fell, wounded our knees, and started crying.

Some told us to "control yourself, be a man, don't be a weakling" as we sought to vent our hurt and frustration.
Even so, what does this mean?
When we don't feel like it, we are frequently expected to behave stiff and suppress our feelings.
So tell me, my beloved friends, brothers, kids, and my beautiful fathers: is it really a crime to be a man?
Is it illegal to design a boychild's room walls?
Every day, men were abused, but it went undetected.
Come talk with me this Saturday about the different types of abuse that guys experience in society and the best strategies to combat it.

Hello Parents

Although you say you'll always be there for your sons and that you have big plans for them, keep in mind that this isn't possible because you can't predict the future.
Teach him the right path to follow rather than choosing it for him, so that when he is old and you are gone, he won't stray from it.
