Some designs are made to be worn. Others are made to prove a point.
For this year's Thanksgiving outfit, I wanted more than just a beautiful dress. I wanted to challenge myself creatively.
The piece itself isn't new, but the styling was. I had an idea I hadn't seen explored much, so I decided to recreate it—with my own twist. Black and white became the perfect canvas for the vision, and bringing every detail together took days of planning, sewing, fitting, and refining.
There were moments I questioned if everything would come together in time, but seeing the finished dress reminded me why the process is always worth it.
Then came Thanksgiving.
The compliments kept coming. People noticed the details, the fit, the elegance, and the uniqueness of the styling. Watching others appreciate something that first existed only as an idea in my mind was incredibly rewarding.
This is why I do what I do.
