“My Teacher said I'll never make it... But I suprised her for 14 years straight.”
The assignment was simple: “Write your name and what you want to be when you grow up.”
I wrote, “I want to be on TV.”

My teacher read everyone’s dreams out loud—then saved me for last.
She called me to the front of the class to humiliate me.
“Why would you write this? Who in your family’s ever been on TV? Who in this neighborhood has ever been on TV? You better write something reasonable—because you’ll never be on television!”
And just like that, she tried to crush a dream.
She knew I stuttered. She knew I was nervous...

Fast forward…
Every Christmas for 14 years, I sent her a flat-screen TV.
The goal was for her to have at least one TV in every room in her house. Not out of spite—but because I wanted her to see me.
I wanted her to witness what God had done with the boy she once said would never be seen.

I’m on TV seven days a week.
Yeah, I stuttered…
But I never stopped speaking life into myself.
