Saturday Spotlight😊

Some of my casual collections made with 2yards of fabrics except for the ankara, I used 3yards. Bust 46, Waist 44 Hip 48. All @ three quarter length.

My 14 year old daughter made the hair for her sister, taught her😁 and she's really relieving me alot...💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼

We can't say it all here...🙌 experiences can't be fabricated!

Digging for* Beginners

TGIF👍 weekend vibe😁

Trust you gonna have a whole lot of fun and inspiration this weekend 👌

Below are DIY crafty projects, ideas and creativity using paper and glue 👌

1. *Paper Flower Garland*:

- Use colored paper or scrapbook paper to create beautiful flowers.
- Cut out petal shapes, assemble, and glue together.
- String flowers together to create a garland for decoration.

2. *Decoupage Vase*:

- Gather old newspapers, magazines, or paper scraps.
- Cut out images or patterns and glue onto a vase or jar.
- Apply multiple layers, then seal with varnish or glue.

The images/crafts are ours, my daughter and I😁

What can you see about the green images, don't they look like an hand bag? 😂😂😂 It was all fun this morning when my last baby crafted them using mango leaves. Surprised myself... 🙄 Creativity runs in our blood👌😅😅🙌

Digging for *Beginners'

Our gist for today:.*'TAILOR TAPE MEASURE'*👌 generally known as Tape Rule😁

I had found out from my experience in Fashion Design that some of our trainees/apprentices who apply to learn didn't come with the expectation or mindset of coming to do some mathematical calculations (I had this mentality too). 😂😂

So some of them struggled or still struggling with understanding the simplest tool as *Measuring Tape*'

At most times with some of them, I had to do little mathematics on decimals and fractions... 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️for 💯 understanding, I discovered their level of assimilation varies.... 😁 I don't believe in duration but to release *SUBSTANCE*👌 You perfect at six (6) months, one year, why not? 😁

So tailor measuring tape is a flexible, portable, and versatile tool used for taking body measurements and measuring fabric, featuring inches and centimeters on opposite sides, making it ideal for a range of sewing and crafting projects.

It is an essential tool that provides precise and consistent measurements for creating perfectly fitted garments.

*How do you read your measuring tape as a beginner?

On a standard tape measure, the biggest marking is the inch mark (which generally has the biggest number, if it has them). As the increments decrease, so does the length of the mark. For example, ½" has a bigger mark than ¼" which has a bigger mark than ⅛", and so on. Read 1 inch. They could either come in these sizes below.

Digging for* *Beginners* '

As beginners particularly into Fashion Design, begin to pay attention to things around you such as fasteners unused fabrics, old dresses with accessories etc (things like Buttons, Hooks n Eyes, Elastic, diamond stones or beads, etc.) They can be removed from those old dresses of yours and reuse.

The pictures below ranges from using an old belt head (the belt had peeled off) left over skin net, fabrics accessories from an old dress and small elastic we feel can't be useful.

Same goes to your old shoes (the sole, the designs on them can be useful) don't be in a hurry to throw things away as designers.. Gist for another time🤣

You will surely get inspiration and boost your creativity from them one day. Be Creative!!!

*It shall be a productive and goal getting Monday 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽😁 permit me as I drop this :

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion is in you, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening/trending or in vogue.

Fashion is very important. It is life-enhancing, globally in trend and, like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well. Your end results should be top-notch. 👌

*Style on the other hand, is a way to say who you are without having to say it. It speaks for itself...👌

Be yourself this week, take the leap of faith, take actions and watch the universe (world) conspire to make your dreams a reality.👌

Remember, fashion is all about expressing yourself and having fun with it! Don't be afraid to try new things and make mistakes – they are all part of the learning process.

It is beautiful to know that this life we have, is tbe life of God in us. (Zoe). So we can't afford to be careless with such a privilege we have in Christ Jesus 🙌

As of last night till this beautiful morning. Lots might have transpired in the spirit realm to the physical, but that we are alive today, is not because we are better than those who died overnight or suffered any attack, and it is certainly not because we've been too perfect for Him. 🙌🙌

So, let's endeavour to be grateful and thankful irrespective of what we going through in this present dispensation.

May God continue to satisfy us with long life and perfect health in Jesus precious name. 🙏🙇‍♀️
