Today reminded me why I love what I do. ❤️
This afternoon, a client messaged me saying she needed an outfit sewn and ready by Friday morning. The challenge was that I wasn't around when she contacted me, and I knew I wouldn't be available tomorrow either.
At first, I wondered how I was going to make it happen. Then I thought to myself, "I can do this."
I asked her to drop the fabric with one of my neighbors so I could pick it up later. I promised her I would work on it that same night.
To make things more challenging, we had no electricity throughout the day, and I was worried about when power would be restored. When I finally got home around 9 PM, I quickly showered, changed my clothes, spread the fabric on the floor, and got straight to work.
I started cutting, then sewing, determined to finish before any power interruption.
The amazing part? In less than an hour, the dress was completed—and it came out beautifully!
Moments like this remind me that passion, commitment, and God's grace can help us achieve more than we imagine.
