You sometimes hear people talk about how blue is "their" color, or how they look awful in peach.
What causes people to have flattering and clashing colors for their skin tone, and how do you determine which colors are best for you?

Choosing the wrong color can make your skin and hair appear dull, while the right colors for your skin tone can make you look vibrant.

Of course, there are no "rules" to fashion — you can literally wear whatever colors you'd like, and I bet you'll look darn good in them, too.
That being said, identifying which colors best flatter your specific skin tone can help you stand out in a crowd and radiate from the inside out.

Just like with makeup and hair, the key to finding your most flattering colors starts with skin tone, or rather, skin undertone.
