A good day to show off some of our arts & crafts from our just concluded holiday program; The Discovery Camp. You can see it’s very really really hands-on, the different age groups participated at different levels and our kids were so eager to make more and sell, talk about young entrepreneurs.

We’ve started planning Discovery Camp 2024 & it’s going to be out of this world literally, watch out for it!

Unpopular opinion but it’s just what it is…

This isn’t to trigger anyone in any way but a little life style change may just be what your family needs and who knows all the beautiful things that can result from this decisions to change your style of educating your kids!!!

So, in conclusion,
Please relax and breathe and let your children breathe too especially the very young ones!!!

So lately, we’ve been doing more of documentaries and inspiring true-life shows for screen time in place of cartoons and I feel it’s been really helpful in helping my little ones understand real life situations.

Watching how other people, better still kids, have been able to work hard at something, overcome obstacles, develop their talents is just somewhat inspiring, so we usually watch them and then try to discuss the lessons and relate it to us.

Here are a few of our favorites, around sports, nature, cooking, talents, music, cars(because we love cars). Depending on your child’s interests you can find what they ll equally enjoy and learn from.

I’ve just relaxed and embraced them, one of the major ones is the seamless pregnancies & childbirths God has blessed me with…

My toddler just walked up to me randomly one day and asked “mama, why do people put fire in their houses?”
Guys, I can’t explain the speed I used to jump up to check round if there’s fire anywhere…
I wanted to immediately start revoking binding & casting away that evil imagination from him but I realized it was just curiosity and educating him about fire early was my best bet

Fire is an incredibly useful tool but on the other hand, it’s one of the most destructive elements known to man just like water, our kids need to know how to manage these elements and use them for their good

So do your kids know they shouldn’t play with lighters & match boxes? Do they know about explosives? Do they know what to do if there’s a fire outbreak? Do they know how to use an extinguisher?

We”ll be having professional firemen around at Discovery camp this Friday for the FIRE SAFETY workshop and you can tell it will be so much fun and learning.

For Nature Studies last week, we explored maize & beans plant, the dangers of afforestation & evolution of organic farming…

Introducing our Tech Guy… Mr Josh .it

This guy was the very first person to hop on this idea immediately I sold it to him, there was absolutely no iota of doubt or “is it possible” from him, like he brought 💯 positive vibes and energy and that really encouraged me and he has really been the back bone of this project

He has over 3 years experience of IT and STEM training, has trained over 150 people including children. He is an Ashoka Fellow and a winner of the MTN Blow my Hustle Grant.
I know he looks really young, he actually is below 20 but he’s one of those rich kids that got sense and early too…

I’m super proud of you .it
