Oezima is not only about what is worn but what is remembered, because memory is the thread that binds a House.
"The first picture was of me () in 2024 when was born. It was still a dream soaked in doubts and boxed in by walls. I did a solo campaign of me wearing the Pencil piece (which is now a Line 2) in my apartment. I hung my camera on a tripod, put on the standing fan and it blew my hair away. The moment I shouted “Cheeseeee", my phone camera heard me, and this shot was taken.
This photo remains iconic.
The piece I was wearing was our debut, and it’s going into the archive because it has our story laced on every stripe of the fabric. It is the formation of who we are becoming, a recall of our future, and growing into our identity.
