The last time I made long ties, they never made it to the 'gram.
Let’s just say I was in a toxic relationship with the fabric.
The gaslighting, the resistance, the sheer emotional drain...
It was so bad I swore off making slim ties ever again.
Then one of my client reached out ..., kemo I need slim ties, I earnestly wanted to decline the job and give it out, ...the heartbreak was very traumatizing.
But while we were still conversing and I was looking for the right way tell him, pls sir, I won't be free to deliver at the stipulated time frame
I noticed, it was different.
This wasn't some situationship filled with uncertainty.
It felt intentional, no time-wasting, no mixed signals.
Every box was ticking:
Fabric texture—check.
Color—check.
Design—check.
I blushed so hard my cheeks turned the exact shade of pink in the design!
But our first date wasn’t all smooth sailing.
We faced hurdles before we could finally meet.
So, I set out for Itam Market, knowing this was going to take time.
A blind date with fabric is no joke. 😭😭😭
I didn’t know what I was looking for exactly,
But I knew the moment I saw it, my heart would recognize it.
And just when I was about to give up,
Just as I was rescheduling the date in my head…
There it was. Screaming from a stall
"It’s me!
I’m the one!"
The rest?
A love story.
From cutting to sewing, to selecting the perfect lining and pocket square,
Everything flowed effortlessly, like a romance meant to be.
Until… tragedy struck.
Just when I thought I had found "the one,"
Iron met fabric. Steam met texture. And in a cruel twist of fate...,
Heartbreak,Betrayal, ....hot Tears.
But like every strong relationship, we found a way to fix things.
A little reinforcement here, a strategic fold there…
And just like that, we were back in love.
The result? A match made in fabric heaven.
Moral of the story? Love is patient, love is kind…
But fabric? Fabric will TEST YOU!
