Pants (Trousers)
The pant is an outer garment covering each leg separately, extending from the waist to the ankle. While the term is "pants" in the USA, in the UK the term "trousers" is used and in Australia, they are commonly called trousers (or casually, daks).
Pants are mostly made from heavy cotton, wool, or sturdy tailored fabrics, and many people report loving them not only for formal occasions but also for everyday leisure activities.
The oldest known pair of pants dates back between 3,500 and 3,200 years ago, discovered at the Yanghai cemetery in Turpan, Xinjiang, in Western China.
